COMING SOON: Danniel + Resha's Wedding at Noah's Event Venue

This past Saturday afternoon, Danniel and Resha bonded together in front of family and friends at the Noah's Event Venue in Overland Park, KS. Despite the rain, both were excited to be hitched. From what I understand, this couple has a rich kind of love that has been witnessed by many. Danniel is grinning from ear to ear that he now has his prize. Future Bride and Groom: Jesse + Atiya's Engagement Session at Nelson Atkins Museum

Jesse and Atiya will marry later this year but before that magical wedding date comes, we carved out some time for a little fun and romance. A few weeks ago, I posted images from their engagement session in downtown Kansas City (CLICK HERE). However, mother nature had something different in store for us - a rain storm came and forced us to reschedule another session. Well, the image above is one of those images from their second e-session.

I can't wait until their wedding day.

All I'm gonna say is that I can't wait to photograph this couple's wedding. It seemed like every image that I took was a GOOD one. I could feel the love and attention they both have for each other and said to myself, this guy truly adores his soul mate. The couple will marry early Fall 2016.

Empire | Trai and Grace Visit Kansas City Home Church

Evangelistic Center International Ministries surprised their church youth with some special guests at their Youth Summit two weeks ago. Empire actors, Trai Byers (aka Andre) and his now beautiful wife, Grace Gealey (aka Boo Boo Kitty) walked into church to a large crowd of screaming youth. Standing with them is First Lady Pastor Carolyn Vaughn.

Alpha Phi Alpha | Congrats to the Kansas City 50 Year+ Members

I had the pleasure of photographing the Alpha Phi Alpha Beta Lambda chapter's 50-year member awards ceremony last week. One brother was honored for 65-years of membership. Very impressed with these brother's devotion to their fraternity and community.

This distinguished young man resides and lives here in Kansas City. He contacted me to photograph him as he needed some LinkedIn photos and professional headshots that he could use for his business portfolio. We had a great time in the studio. He and I have mutual friends as well as I have done some special event photography for he and his family. I might also add that he is a dedicated member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.

Williams Family is Expecting One More | Maternity Photo Session

The Williams family is expecting one more "new beginning" to their awesome family really soon. We took time to take a few outdoor photos - nothing special - but something that will document the history that is in store for them. I might add they wouldn't share with me the name or sex of the baby so I guess we are all in suspense.
