Rachael's Senior Photo Session

If you’ve never visited the 18th & Vine district, you really should. It’s filled with so much history and incredible colorful backdrops. This was the perfect location for Rachael’s senior photos. We also took some photos along Paseo Blvd.

Surprise Mother's Day Gift

The week before Mother's Day, Walter, called me to ask if I would be willing to come to their home and take some pictures of him, his little girl - Addison and his son, Prescott. Walter wanted to surprise his wife, Jon, with a special Mother's Day present.

Addison is a precious gift and one who loved to be in daddy's arms.

Patrick Senior Photos

Most senior photo sessions that I photograph take place in the studio or at some eclectic location that compliments my subject. Well let's just say this photo session was a little different. Patrick, a 2009 Senior at Shawnee Mission West high school, wanted his pictures taken on the school grounds.

Heather + Jeremy | April 25

Heather and Jeremy committed their lives to each other Saturday, April 25 in the historic First Christian Church of Independence. Jeremy is a cool guy who reminds me of a good friend of mine. The groomsmen were a hoot and fun to work with. Heather and the bridesmaids have a shy spirit about themselves. Heather and her father could be twins :)

May God bless you both!

This past Saturday, the Leavenworth Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta sorority celebrated 20-years of service and reunion. Their theme was "Stepping Through Time and Transition".

All the events were held at the KCI Marriott Hotel. The biggest highlight of the anniversary celebration was the DST national president, Cynthia M. A. Butler-McIntyre and their Director of Central Region, Sandra M. Lucado, were the guests of honor. Approximately 300 guests attended the events.

Below are a few images from the Sisterhood Breakfast and formal dinner.
