Congratulations Lincoln College Prep Class of 2011

Graduate is a time of celebration, accomplishment and new beginnings. Tuesday, the seniors of Lincoln College Preparatory Academy were able to say to Kansas City, "we did it". 115 students walked across the stage to receive their diplomas and to begin their new dreams and aspirations.

I was the official photographer for their commencement exercises and being surrounded by the excitement took me way back to 1988 when I graduated from high school; then four years later to graduate from college. All of the graduates shed tears of joy and memories that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Their commencement exercise theme was, "Let us not go where the path may lead, instead let us go where there is no path and leave a trail." WOW, that is powerful.

Congratulations LCPA Seniors!

Geoffrey + Mallory | May 14 Wedding

2011 has started off to be a wonderful year. We have some exciting brides booked this year and who have some really exciting ceremonies planned. Geoffrey and Mallory were one of those exciting couples. This is the second posting from the "teaser" photos I posted last week. To view the first posting CLICK HERE. Mallory is a princess who's prince dotes on her to the utmost. The emotional love that they share for one another isn't a secret. From the moment that I met them, Geoffrey made it known how much he cares for Mallory - so much so that he has taken a leading role in the planning of their wedding. They booked us for the entire weekend! Friday, Saturday and for a few hours on Sunday. We followed them to their wedding rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, barbershop, wedding ceremony, reception and the opening of their gifts. Trust me...I was beat but it was all good. Needless to say, with every shutter I was like a little kid in a toy store; every image popped! They are my next "ken and barbie".

Some of the details:
Wedding/Reception - Clubhouse on Baltimore
Florist - Village Gardens
Caterer - Brancato's Catering
