Happy Holidays from the Green and Lee Family | Family Photos by Royal Photography, LLC at Kansas City Southern

The past few weeks have been busy for me and I've been all over the Greater KC area photographing families and have neglected to take some time post what I've been doing. Naturally social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tumblr have been update but not my blog. Please forgive me.

The Green and Lee family is one of the latest families that I had the opportunity of photographing. The photo session was taken at the Kansas City Southern office building inside the lobby. I've never been inside of the building before and to my own fault, never knew it was KCS. Shame on me! I guess you learn something new every day. The lobby was decorated perfectly with a beautiful Christmas tree in the background. Here is one of my favorite image in which I turned into a holiday greeting card.

Happy Holidays!

My First Trip to Las Vegas | Photographers Wedding MBA Convention

In the month of September, I attended the Wedding MBA Convention held in Las Vegas. This was my first time visiting the lavish city. Before catching the monorail to attend morning seminar classes, naturally I had to stop and take a few photos. After the seminars, I got a chance to visit most of the popular hotels and see what all the hype was about. Needless to say, it wasn't what I thought it would be. I didn't see all the crazy people - crazy outfits and outlandish personalities. What I did see were tons of families and tourists. Don't get me wrong, this wasn't why I went but EVERYBODY I know has been to Vegas and everyone talked about all the stuff they saw. Well....I didn't see anything. I'll give Vegas the benefit of the doubt and visit one more time :) Personally, I thought the hotels were strategically built and gorgeous. I just wished I had tons of money to buy everything I saw. I stayed in the Mirage hotel and the amenities were outstanding. Since I'm a photographer, I had to capture a few images of some of the famous hotels (within walking distance of my hotel) with my camera. Above and below are some of my favorites.
