Royal Photography and Embassy Suites Spring Wedding Tasting

This past Sunday, I participated in the Embassy Suites @ KCI 'Spring Wedding Tasting' event. Several registered brides came to taste sample menu items and personally meet wedding professionals. I arrived a little after 12:30 pm to set up my booth and then made a quick run to Buffalo Wild Wings for some slamming Caribbean jerk wings. Thereafter, returned just in time for the 3pm rush. Sadly to say, most of the brides that stopped by my booth already had contracted photographers but at least they were impressed with my booth setup, photography skills and wedding albums. HOPEFULLY, they may have a change of heart and MIGHT call upon me to photograph their wedding. LOL...just a little wishful thinking. Some of the vendors present, I already knew and some I didn't. Needless, it was great meeting new faces and chewing the fat around industry experiences. Thank you Embassy Suites for inviting me.

Jack and Jill of Overland Park 2012 Beautillion

On April 28, 2012, nine prestigious young men will be recognized by the Jack and Jill, Inc. of Johnson County at the first 2012 Beautillion. Not only is this a first for the Overland Park Chapter but also a first for us at Royal Photography to work with such a group of ladies. This just allows us to add to our portfolio. The Beautillion Ball isn't until the 28th of April so there will be more photos to come - stay tuned. ◦
