Good things always come to good people. Joy and Brian’s April 11 wedding and reception proved that theory. Their wedding displayed perfection and elegance. The ceremony took place at the Peace Lutheran Church in South Kansas City and the reception was held at the luxurious The Sawyer Room – downtown KCMO. What I appreciated the most was Joy and Brian allowed enough time for us to travel to a offsite location (Kauffman Memorial Gardens) for additional formal photos.
Their colors were baby blue and chocolate. When you walked in The Sawyer Room, guest’s expectations were blown away. The tables and décor gave the guests something to talk about. Kudos to "First Things First Catering and Event Planning" (Dorothy Aldridge / Arlana Coleman) for putting their best foot forward on the decorations. A little birdie told me the Sawyer Room management had never seen the room decorated so well. I can’t close this entry without saying, OH MY GOODNESS, THE CAKE!” Words can’t explain how good it looked – it tasted good too.
Thank you Joy and Brian for the huge opportunity and Arlana for the referral.
