Brandize + Damon | March 13
A few days ago I mentioned in an earlier post that Damon and Brandize have their own unique story to tell. Well...
Brandize was a referral from a wedding I photographed a few years ago. Thanks Davoya!
When Brandize called me, her wedding was scheduled for March 6. Unfortunately, I was booked so would you believe she moved her wedding date to the following week for me? WOW, that warmed my heart and goes a long way with me.
As you will see, Damon had foot surgery a couple of weeks before the wedding and he was determined to walk down the aisle without his crutches. Being a U.S. Marine, he courageously endured the pain and stood at the alter patiently awaiting his bride. After the ceremony the Marines performed a sword detail and welcomed them to the Marine family as they exited the sanctuary. When they arrived at the reception (The Brio Tuscan Grill), Damon yells proudly, "I'm rich" as they walk in the ballroom. Both are very photogenic people and are deeply in love with each other - so much so that they couldn't keep their hands off each other.
Congratulations Brandize and Damon and thank you for allowing me to document incredible new beginnings in your lives.

Brandize + Damon | Teaser photo
I know I'm wrong for doing this but sometimes the excitement gets besides me.
Last week I photographed Brandize and Damon's wedding here in Kansas City. This couple has a story unlike no other. Check back in a few days and I will have some photos and info to share. In the mean time, enjoy.

Natasha + James | Phoenix, AZ
I did my best to get these images posted and not keep the bride and groom in suspense.
Tailese and I would like to thank Natasha and James for the complimentary flight and hotel arrangements. The hotel staff and amenities were great! What also made it sweet was to know that the hotel was 2.5 miles away from the airport and 1 mile away from the wedding/reception venue. It's always good to travel out of your hometown to new surroundings to capture new ideas, meet great people and squeeze in a little vacation.
The wedding ambiance, color scheme, decorations and scenery kept me bubbling over with all kinds of creative ideas. I couldn't stop taking pictures. We hope you love the images.
Congratulations Natasha and James!

Our hotel room compliments of the bride and groom.
A welcome kit filled with goodies was available to us, family and friends who checked into their hotel room.
