On 9.4.10 two special people from totally different backgrounds came together and became “The Jones”. Remember the great song, “Me and Mrs. Jones?” Well, this marvelous couple are really good friends of mine. I was a groomsman in their wedding too. Callie and Torrance celebrate their one year anniversary last weekend and Torrance wanted to surprise his bride with a romantic evening of drinks, dinner and…. He called me and wanted me to capture some special photos of his element of surprise for Callie.
If anyone knows Torrance, he is a young dude who always raises the bar in romancing his lady the old fashion way - spontaneous flowers, lavish gifts and unforgettable innuendos. Last weekend he planned a romantic dinner, yet private, at their wedding reception venue “Café Sebastienne” inside The Kemper Museum. He arranged for the same wedding flowers, table center pieces, the same table cloth, same wedding dinner menu and their favorite apple martini’s. There were other special surprise gifts that commemorated their wedding day. Callie was indeed surprised as I was too.
Torrance, on behalf of all the men out here, tone it down a bit and stop making us look bad. LOL!
