Can we all say fun? That’s the best way I can explain Christy and Matt’s wedding at the Olathe Bible Church. There wasn’t anything ordinary about their wedding. Christy and Matt agreed to see each other before the ceremony so we eliminated a lot of the formal photos just before the guest arrived. Harley, their pet dog, also wanted to take pictures with his owners. Harley didn’t want to miss out on the action so he made a request to see them as well inside the church before the guest arrived.

The reception was held at the St. Andrews Golf Club. Christy’s dad and uncles were the life of the party. From what I was told, it’s a rare that her uncles would be in the same place at one time. Any one could tell that they had a ball.

I enjoyed myself and I want to thank Christy, Matt and their families for giving me the opportunity to document their wedding day.

Some of you may have remembered me posting a few "coming soon" teaser photos from Hannah and Chris's wedding in Emporia, KS. Below you will find additional photos from their wedding.

Saturday, May 23, Tailese and I headed to my old college stomping grounds - Emporia State University. Home of the "Hornets". Emporia has indeed changed in the last 17-years.

Hannah and Chris's wedding was eclectic with a touch of class. They even had a 1936 vintage Cadillac as their transportation. The ceremony took place in the historic Granada Theatre. We had full reign to do whatever we wanted, we even drove up to the ESU campus for a few portraits.

Meet the Browns

Children have always have a way of putting a smile on your face. Often I wonder if it's because we as grown up wish we could be a kid again when all you have to worry about is eating, sleeping, playing and reaching out to our guardians for love. Life back then was so easy!

Well, Kevin and Melissa definitely have their hands full with their bundle of joy - Alexa. She has so much character. Their photo session had me in stitches from laughing at all of her many personalities.
