Tamela Mann Performs at the Folly Theater for the SCLC Sprint Artist Tribute

Cora, aka, Tamela Mann, off the Tyler Perry hit sitcoms, "Meet the Browns", performed live on stage at the Folly Theatre as a benefit of the annual SCLC / Sprint Artist Tribute. This is one of the many annual activities that lead up toward the Greater Kansas City SCLC Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday celebration. Do you want to hear something funny? I didn't know she and Mr. Brown, aka, David Mann, have been married for 25-years. Yes, slap me. LOL! He came out on stage to introduce his wife and the audience went crazy! I was totally shocked and goes to show you how in-touch I am with the sitcoms. After the show, she signed autographs, sold a few of her CD's and t-shirts.

The concert was opened up by father and daughter duo, Shanice and Maurice Hayes, who were contestants on America's Got Talent. Local gospel recording artist Isaac Cates and his group "Ordained" were second in the line up just before Tamela came out on stage. They performed one of their hit singles "Strong Tower".
