Vanecia + Domingo | July 31 Wedding

Weddings are full of bliss and I get such a thrill being surrounded by so much love for family. Every wedding I photograph, I take away something that I can apply in my daily life – whether that is the appreciation of family, devotion, how to effectively express love, or picking up on some advice that I’ve never heard.

Often when couples announce to family and friends that they are getting married, they receive all sorts of advice – some good, some bad, and some that you question. What I remember most at Vanecia and Domingo’s wedding was that they received all sorts of sound advice from their family during the reception. Domingo’s father, mother and grandmother reminded he and Vanecia that there was over 200 years of steadfast and dedicated love in their family. The one piece of advice that was emphasized at the reception by their grandparents was that the “D” word (divorce) was not an option. Marriage takes work and they should keep God first in EVERYTHING they do. All the rest will fall into place. Besides taking vows before God, Domingo was reminded from his parents/grandparents that he is expected to take care of Vanecia, be a good husband and a devoted father – when that time comes. They are so blessed to be surrounded by so much love and support.

Wedding details are:

Ceremony – Concord Fortress of Hope
Reception – The AMP Center
Cake – Price Chopper
Florist – Price Chopper

It seems like pinks and purples are becoming popular wedding colors. You are right, the couple is blessed to be given such good advice from family that has put those words into action. Best wishes to the newlyweds!!!!!
