Manami and Marcus friendship started years back and lately turned into a long awaited love romance. Manami, from Japan, and Marcus a U.S. Army soldier tied the knot Sunday, October 12 at the Grandview Assembly of God church.
The day started for me at 11:30 a.m. when I met the wedding party at the J.C. Nichols fountain from there we drove to Kauffman Memorial Gardens for more pre-formals. The wedding ceremony didn't start until 2 p.m. so we had a lot of time to burn off. The ceremony was quick and all the guest drove to the Kansas City Public Library Central location where they occupied the fifth floor ballroom. The weather was PERFECT! So we took more formals on the terrace overlooking Kansas City's skyline. Manami is a lover of the famous book "Charolotte's Web" so we opted to take photos in front of the mural adjacent to the library.
Marcus and Manami, you all share the love and support from both sides of the family whether it's in Japan or here in Kansas City. CONGRATULATIONS!

Very creative ideas Sam. I love the first photo and the sneaky bookshelf photo. Nice touch.

Sam, I bet you wish the wedding was in Japan? Good work my friend.
