And the two shall become one…

The last few weddings that we’ve photographed both sets of parents have really displayed unconditional love toward their children. Nicole and Donald’s wedding fit perfectly in that category. When Rev. James Terrance (who officiated the wedding) asked, “who gives this bride away?” Her father proudly shouted, “her mother, brother and I.” There is a story behind that one so I won't go into it. If you want to know, I suggest you ask them :) Nicole’s dream wedding occurred just as she wanted. Everything was perfect!

Asa | 3-Month Photo Session

Babies are so darn cute! Every now and then, we all have a "baby fix" and want to hold them, smell them and stare into their innocent eyes. I had one of those moments and I was quickly reminded that I have two little ones at home that are a handful. The reality is that they do grow up and can be very demanding but you gotta love them.

A couple of months ago I posted some images of Asa when he was about a month old. His parents are good friends of ours and ones whose wedding I photographed a couple of years ago. Mom called me back for Asa's three month-old photos by request of her grandmother. We chose to keep Asa in his surroundings and took all of the photos in his bedroom. His room is pretty cool too. He's got all kinds of toys and gadgets to hold his interest. He has such a personality and is a good mixture of both mom and dad.

Derek Senior Photos

We are starting our 2011 Senior photo sessions a whole lot earlier than in the years past. Derek, a senior at one of the local high schools, wanted to take his pictures outdoors at some really cool locations that I had in mind. With all honesty, we scheduled and rescheduled his session at least three times due to the extreme temperatures. He and his father didn't want to wait any longer so we opted to schedule his session in the studio. I'll be the first to say, that he took some really good pics.
